Tackling climate change and its effects is the greatest challenge of the 21st century. That is why at Asseco we make friendly choices for the planet. We are working to minimize the negative impact on the environment at all Group companies through various environmental initiatives, including:
We save energy and invest in renewable energy
Actions taken:
– implementation of reactive power compensation in Rzeszów and Katowice,
– renewal of the contract for the supply of energy from cogeneration for offices in Rzeszów, Warsaw, Katowice and Sanok,
– use of our own photovoltaic panels in Warsaw and solar collectors in Rzeszów,
– we use solutions to reduce energy consumption: we have replaced lighting with LEDs, installed motion sensors, and choose energy-efficient appliances.
We extend the lifespan of products and support the circular economy
– Investments in a low-emission vehicle fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
As a result, low-emission vehicles accounted for 36.8% in 2025.
– Continuation of the resale of electronic equipment, furniture and cars.
We promote digital solutions by:
– increasing the use of cloud-based solutions, which reduces the purchase of new equipment and lowers the demand for raw materials, including rare earth metals,
– implementing solutions that reduce paper consumption, including electronic document circulation and a secure printing system.

We raise awareness and engage our employees
We are committed to educational activities and fostering environmental awareness among both our employees and our customers. We promote eco-friendly attitudes through numerous projects and initiatives aimed at protecting the climate and the environment. At Asseco, the Sustainable Development Team oversees the implementation of these projects; in the environmental sphere, it is responsible, amongst other things, for analysing environmental risks, monitoring and implementing requirements arising from applicable regulations, and implementing pro-environmental initiatives. We include environmental provisions in contracts and requests for quotation, inform clients about the environmental terms of cooperation, and provide employees with materials on the intranet and on our proprietary internal portal: EkoBaza.

ASSECO FLOWERY MEADOW
Over 60 plant types sown provide shelter for 5,000 species of small animals,
including thousands of insects.
We do not waste food. We support those in need.
Did you know that 150 kg of food goes into the trash every second in Poland*, and every day more than 30% of all food produced and collected worldwide is wasted? That is why we’re running a Zero Waste campaign at Asseco to combat the waste of food supplies with near expiration dates and support those in need. To date, we have donated: To date, we have donated:
2.7 thousand liters of milk and 1.9 thousand packages of sweets to 5 aid centers and orphanages,
packages of coffee and tea with a total value of more than
PLN 200,000 to 106 hospitals.*
